WHAT IS THE PRESTIGE AGENT NETWORK?
Our network joins together agents and our agency,  a full service travel company established in 1988 operating a retail travel agency and cruise division. The company is bonded and approved by the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), accredited by the International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN), and a member of the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA). We are also licensed as a Seller of Travel and is authorized to operate throughout the United States.  We are also a member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).

HOW DO I FIND MY CLIENTS?
Everyone you know or meet is a potential client. Start with family, friends, church, sport organizations, business associates, neighbors, teachers and clubs. The Travel Club is also an excellent marketing tool to obtain new clients. The Prestige Agent Network can also provide you with a personalized web page that you can market on the Internet.

HOW DO I BOOK TRAVEL WITH SUPPLIERS?
You can book directly with suppliers (cruises, tours, hotels and cars) following the procedures outlined in your Agent Membership Manual.  All network agents have access to our portal, HomeTravelAgent.com where you can access various reservation systems and book directly online.  Our inside staff is here to provide guidance and assistance as you begin your travel education.

HOW ARE COMMISSIONS EARNED?
Commissions are paid to the agency by suppliers . The following percentages are typical of what is paid to the agency by suppliers:

Cruises:     10% – 20%
Tour Packages:     10% – 20%
Hotels & Car Rentals:     10%-18%

EXAMPLE: You book a $2000.00 cruise and the commission rate from the cruise line is 18%. The total commission earned is $360.00. As a Level I Network Member you would earn 30%, or $108.00. As a Level V Network Member you would earn 60%, or $216.00.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE TRAVEL DOCUMENTS I SELL?
The vast majority of travel is done electronically with documents that can be accessed through an App or  that can be printed at your client’s convenience.  Travel documents that need to be mailed will be sent via First Class mail and will generally get the documents to you or your clients in ample time. If faster delivery is required we can arrange overnight service, or priority mail based on current agency policies.

HOW CAN I COMPETE WITH OTHER LOCAL AGENCIES?
As an affiliate you will have access to exclusive agency offers and competitive cruise and tour pricing.  Through our membership with Travel Leaders Network and other technology providers you also have access to cutting edge tools and services.  These services, as well as good customer service, will set you apart from agencies in your local area.

HOW DO I GET BROCHURES?
Most travel package and travel product information is available online.  There are also tools available that allow you to share information in an email or PDF format with your clients.  Some suppliers will send travel advisor guides and brochures once you are established with them at no cost.

HOW DO I KEEP CURRENT ON SPECIALS, DISCOUNTS AND SPECIAL PROMOTIONS?
You will have access to our agent portal as well as weekly emails and a wealth of information provided in travel agent periodicals.

HOW LONG DOES MY NETWORK MEMBERSHIP LAST AND ARE THERE ANY MONTHLY FEES?
Your membership in the Network will be renewed on the one year anniversary date of your initial affiliation with the Prestige Agent Network, provided you have earned sufficient commission to indicate that you are actively involved in selling travel. There are no mandatory monthly or annual fees. The only additional fee is to cover administrative costs to update your paperwork and files upon your annual renewal.

WHAT IS THE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE?
If you feel the program does not meet your expectations, simply return the books and materials in their original condition within 30 days and you will receive a full refund on the membership fee less the cost of an administrative/shipping & handling fee.
